How this site is funded
PawCostWise is supported by display advertising. Ads are served through third-party advertising networks, principally Google AdSense. When you see an advertisement on a page, we may earn a small amount from an impression or a click.
What that means for what you read
Advertising pays for the research and writing. It does not buy influence over it.
- Advertisers have no input into which topics we cover or what we conclude.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage of any insurer, clinic, or product.
- An advertisement appearing beside a guide is not an endorsement of that advertiser. Ad placement is automated and we do not control which specific ads appear.
- Where we discuss a product or service, our assessment reflects our research — not a commercial relationship.
How ads are placed
We label advertisements clearly and keep them separated from editorial content, so it is always obvious which is which. We deliberately avoid placing ads where they could be mistaken for navigation or clicked by accident, and we limit how many appear on a page.
